    📸 Capture the solutions that inspire change!
    The UNCCD and GWP have launched a global photo competition at UNCCD COP 16 in December 2024 in Riyadh to highlight powerful solutions to drought and water scarcity.
    From nature-based solutions to technological innovations, we’re looking for impactful images that showcase how communities and ecosystems build resilience to drought.
    🏆 Finalists will have their work exhibited at UNCCD Headquarters in Bonn during the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought on June 17, 2025.
    💰 Winners in each category will receive a $500 gift card from the International Center of Photography or Fotografiska Museum.
    ⏳ Don’t miss the submission deadline: March 31, 2025!
    📢 Winners will be announced in May 2025.

    Expression of Interest Form: GECCI Pavilion at UNCCD COP16

    The Global Environmental and Climate Conservation Initiative (GECCI), will be hosting a pavilion at the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). This event will take place from December 2-13, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the Blue Zone. The GECCI Pavilion will offer both physical and virtual event spaces for GECCI members and stakeholders worldwide, serving as a unique platform to showcase your contributions toward UNCCD goals, reversing land degradation, and advancing GECCI's mission.

    How to Apply:
    - Complete our simple event registration form to express your interest.
    - Space is limited, so apply early!
    - Event themes should focus on climate solutions, desertification, sustainability, or youth-led initiatives.
    - This is your opportunity to make an impact and share your vision at COP16.
