Are you passionate about tackling climate-related challenges and conducting research that drives real-world impact? The Climares project is looking for two PhD candidates to join a groundbreaking initiative supporting climate resilience in Africa. This call is specifically for Uganda—more countries will follow!

📌 𝟮 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮:
🔹 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗔: Focus on smallholders & climate adaptation in cash crop production (Wageningen University & Research).
🔹 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗕: Focus on refugees & resilience strategies in the face of climate threats (Erasmus University Rotterdam).

These 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 positions are based at 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 and offer a unique joint/dual degree opportunity with leading Dutch institutions. The research involves innovative, participatory methods to empower climate-affected communities.
