We’re thrilled to share that applications for the Youth Ecopreneur Programme (YECO) 2025 are now open!
This YECO programme is led by the G20 Global Land Initiative/UNCCD and the International Trade Centre (ITC). YECO supports young entrepreneurs focusing on two categories: Land Restoration Businesses and Green Businesses.
The Land Restoration category refers to entrepreneurs scaling solutions— including reforestation, soil enrichment, wetland restoration, erosion control, agroforestry, stream and river restoration, invasive species control, and the use of modern technology for sustainable land use. This land restoration category also counts with unique benefits such as gain access to grant funding from a $100,000 equity-free pool to help scale tangible restoration efforts and regenerative business models on the ground.

- Access to Google’s Startups for Sustainable Development Programme

Who Should Apply?
- Founder/Co-founder/CEO of a legally registered green business
- Under 35 years old by the application deadline
- Working in land restoration, sustainability, or circular economy
