In this episode of the CLP Interview Series, Jochen Luther, Technical Coordinator at the WMO Regional Office for Asia and the Southwest Pacific, discusses the impact of the CREWS initiative in Cambodia and Lao PDR. He explains how the programme addresses drought-related challenges by enhancing early warning systems, promoting local community involvement, and supporting the development of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) plans. Jochen shares insights into the programme's ongoing work and its future phase, CREWS 2.0, which will continue to strengthen climate resilience and ensure sustainability in the face of climate change.
