In this episode of the CLP Interview Series, Mr. Bounteum Sysouphanthavong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Lao PDR, discusses the country's drought challenges and how the CREWS programme has supported efforts to improve forecasting, preparedness, and capacity building. He shares success stories, lessons learned, and the role of key partners like WMO and GWP in enhancing resilience against droughts in Lao PDR.
